Former World Rally Champion and four times winner of Rally GB, Petter Solberg, has confirmed his entry for the 65th edition of the Rally of Great Britain, which will again be taking place in Wales, October 22 - 25.

Petter will be lining up at the start in Cardiff along with the world's best rally drivers in a bid to become the first driver in the event's history to win Rally GB five times. He will be competing in the finale of the FIA World Rally Championship in a new car after Citroen announced his signing to its Junior Team.

Welshman Phil Mills will again be sitting next to the former World Champion calling the pace notes and offering his local knowledge of his home event. "Rally GB is obviously my favourite event of the year and there is nothing like competing in front of your home fans," said Mills. "We will be pushing hard to win the event as always but the support from the fans is sure to give us a lift as well."
