Team Autotec sponsered by Rallynotes.co.uk move on to the Jim Clark International Rally, in preparation for the 2008 assault on the Tour Mull, two crews from the team Autotec team prepare for the Jim Clark rally.

Dave Hopwood and Paul Grattidge in the 2 litre 2 wheel drive challenge class, are out to prove there immaculate escort MkII against strong competition.

After their last run on the Tour of Mull and leading their class ended with a disappointing engine failure they have got a point to prove. With a rebuilt engine and a fired up crew watch out for the spectacular driving style on Dave Hopwood.

The roads of Duns and the surrounding areas will provide a different challenge to the roads of Mull but one that the team are excited to take on. “I am looking forward to the quick and flowing roads of the Scottish borders” said Dave Hopwood hoping to add the Jim Clark rally to the list of event that becomes a regular event for team Autotec.

After an excellent 8^th overall on the 2007 Tour of Mull Dave Miller and Andrew Bailey  move on to the 2008 and prepare for there assault on Mull with the Jim Clark International rally.

The Team Autotec crew have tackled the Jim Clark on a number of occasions, with mechanical woes interrupting some excellent stage times and causing the crew to retire. This year the team has renewed its efforts to ensure a finish.

The Jim Clark Rally is in its fifth year and starts from the town of Kelso, constituting of 5 different rallies allowing competitors from international to clubman to compete.

The rally starts on the Saturday 24^th through to Sunday 25^th May.
