Twyford Wood near Grantham was home to the Turbo Centre Stages on Sunday 20th April 2008.

The Single venue, an old World War Two Airfield of which the Pathfinder Paratroopers left from to mark the drop zones for D Day, consists of solid & broken concrete runways &  perimeter roads through tress.

The stages were wet & very slippery for the impressive entry of which Tom Walster / Phil Carlin were to find after rolling out early on in their Ford Fiesta ST.

As the day grew longer other notable retirements included the ever entertaining Alex Taylor / Barry Massey (Subaru Impreza), John Marwood / David Fosset (6R4), Eddie Turner / Dean Russell (6R4) & Andrew Varley / Bob Charmbury in their Escort Cosworth.

Donovan Jenkin / Ian Bass seemed to revel in the conditions apart from a couple of spins & impressed to win the event with the 6R4 crew of Robert Lowe / Colin Poxson second with Philip White / Richard Hage bringing their new Evo 7 home in a creditable third.
