Great news for all BTRDA competitors taking part in the 2008 Silverstone Tyres BTRDA Rally Series. In addition to the existing Holfeld Pumps Team Challenge awards of £1,500, a further £1,500 in prizes is also up for grabs.
Holfeld Pumps, has committed a further £1,500 to the Championship in recognition of the support competitors give to the Silverstone Tyres BTRDA Rally Series during 2008.
The awards will be known as Holfeld Pumps Loyalty Awards and are open to all BTRDA Championship registered drivers that start the first six rounds of the 2008 Championship.
These drivers will be entered into a £1,500 prize draw for three awards, which will take place on the Quinton Stages Rally on the 5th July.The lucky winner of the draw will have his or her entry fees paid (worth approximately £800*) on TWO of the remaining THREE rounds of the 2008 BTRDA Rally Series.
The second prize winner will have his or her entry fee paid (worth approximately £400*) on ONE remaining round of the 2008 BTRDA Rally Series.
The third prize winner will receive a £300* discount on the entry fee of one remaining round of the 2008 BTRDA Rally Series.
Richie Holfeld of Holfeld Pumps and former winner of the Gold Star Series in 1991 said, "I am pleased that my company is able to support another new and exciting BTRDA initiative and recognise the Championship contenders who demonstrate their loyalty to the Series. Winning any of these prizes could be just what a competitor needs to go on and win the Championship or a major trophy."
