Registrations for the 2008 Dunlop/Gambia MSA British Historic Rally Championship are running at almost exactly the same level as in 2007, as series organisers have just taken the 100th driver registration.
 
The overall total for 2007 was 106 drivers and 97 co-drivers, making it the first time that over 200 competitors have registered for the BHRC. The final tally for 2008 is likely to be very close to 200.
 
The BHRC, managed by the Historic Rally Car Register, has three rounds remaining in 2008, with this weekend's Harry Flatters followed by the Tour of Flanders (13/14 September) and the Trackrod Historic Rally (27 September).
