The weekend of the 13th & 14th of December saw the running of the ever popular Rockingham Stages.

The event held at the Northamptonshire Rockingham circuit, run by the Thame Motorsport Club & Middlesex County Automobile Club boasted an impressive as ever entry.

Which included 3 time winner & keen on a fourth straight victory Steve Simpson (Hyundai Accent WRC) & the legend Russell Brookes in his famous Talbot Sunbeam.

It was Simpson/Hunter who again dominated the event setting the pace from the off & claiming the victory by over 2 minutes over the 10 stages.

 Chasing hard behind them were the Peugeot 306 Maxi Kit car of David West/Sam Keeley in second and the Darrian T9 of Ashley Field/Janice Hooley in third.

Fourth place went to the Ford Sierra Cosworth of Richard Upton/Paul Bareham with the Focus WRC of Dick Mauger/Steve Mcnaulty rounding out the top five.
