Following the outcome of the Motor Sports Council National Court Tribunal and based on its recommendations, the 2008 MSA British Rally Championship standings are declared final.

The 2008 Drivers Champion is confirmed as Guy Wilks, with Co-drivers Champion Rory Kennedy and Mitsubishi Motors UK as British Teams’ Champions.

“We (The National Court) were urged on behalf of MSA to consider penalties of disqualification and suspension. We decided that it would be wrong to impose either penalty in a case where we were not satisfied that there had been any deliberate dishonesty or intentional breach.”
