This T16 is in road car trim and is one of the 200 built in left hand drive trim to homologate the car for use in the World Rally Championship. The T16, one of the famous Gp B cars of the 1980's went on to win Peugeot the World Rally Championship for manufactures in 1985 and 1986 and various event wins.
This amazing example boasts:
- 300 hp engine kit ? currently regulated between 260 & 270 hp for softer handling and greater reliability
- large brakes inspired by the 205 Turbo 16 Group B "Evolution II"
- Roll cage for added safety.
