The Glens of Antrim Rally 2009 the final round of the Hankook MSA Northern Ireland Rally Championship was hosted by the Mid Antrim Motor Club’s and sponsor by Townparks Car Sales.

This year the rally returned to the gravel of the Co.Antrim forests, with twelve stages and a total of 45 stage miles. Rally headquarters was at Loughguile Millennium Centre with the first of two stages in Slieveanorra forest some 6 miles away,  from that they moved to a 1.5 mile run though beaghs forest, next it was Ballypatrick, Parkmore, Glenariff, and finally back to Slieveanorra 2, all stages where repeated twice with a service in the middle.

Kenny McKinstry and Noel Orr in there Subaru Impreza WRC again took the glory winning the Rally 15secs ahead of second place Alastair Fisher and Barry McNulty in there Group N Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, third was Jonathan Greer again in a Group N Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX and finally in four was Derek McGarrity 2009 Hankook MSA Northern Ireland Rally Champion in his Toyota Corolla WRC.
