Meeke heads to Scotland for the final round of the IRC PDF Print E-mail

Meeke Monte09The final round of this year’s Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) will take place in Scotland on November 19 – 21st. Full coverage of every stage will be available via a new Rally Radio Service to be launched at the Rally.

Peugeot UK’s Kris Meeke, who secured the IRC drivers’ title at the last round in San Remo, will lead off a strong gathering of local drivers in this week’s Rally Scotland, all keen to get on the top step of the podium.

Kris’s team-mate for this rally will be Adam Gould who will be at the wheel of the BF Goodrich Drivers’ Team Peugeot 207 S2000, which is also fully supported by the Kronos team.  Kris’s normal team mates Nicolas Vouilloz and Freddy Loix will not be making the trip to Scotland.

Rally Scotland will also see Kris go head to head with British Rally Champion Keith Cronin who will be driving an Abarth Grande Punto S2000, Scottish Rally Champion David Bogie in a Ralliart Lancer E9, Alister McRae in a Proton Satria Neo S2000 and old sparring partner, Guy Wilks in a Skoda Fabia S2000.

The rally starts on Thursday 19th November at 20:08 with two super special stages in the grounds of Scone Palace, a total of 3.06 km. The crews will then contest over the next two days a further eleven stages with a total stage distance of 210.80 km, before the rally ends on Saturday 21st November.
